In my opinion the best Book for the topic available.
Excellent book, I'm planning on making my first composite bow soon, and I have to withhold a star because there are a few considerations that I have to look up elsewhere.
Fantastic book on traditional composite bows. Detailed and thorough. Beginning to finish on how to make a Turkish style horn bow while being led by the experienced hand of the author. Will be of great use to traditional bowyers so want to try their hand at making this style of bow.
This book answers so many questions about the horn bow making process that translates beyond just Turkish bows. Language barriers can be an issue when delving into this hobby and this book helps bridge that gap when looking at bow making from other regions after having a stronger base knowledge of construction.
Truly outstanding piece of work. Lots of sage advice for beginners too, although by "beginners" I mean people who have built bows before but not composites out of natural materials.
Very thorough research and years of experience is evidently embeded in this book. There is a mix of using inches and millimeters, but not on the same pieces, so the reader need clear this out in the process of making a bow. However there is so much hands on experience and knowledge stacked in this book that to me it is a chest of treasures.
